 Considered the finest serial dissections ever created, the Series consists of stereo images of the complete human body dissections performed by Dr. David Bassett. The Series was photographed by William Gruber, the inventor of the familiar Viewmaster stereo viewer. Spanning 17 years, this project produced over 1500 high-resolution images.  eHuman has digitized and annotated the 400 images that Dr. Bassett selected for medical school gross anatomy classes.  Complimenting the images are audio-enabled annotations by Dr. Robert Chase, Professor Emeritus and Curator of the Bassett Collection.
