TMJ Installation Instructions

The TMJ Atlas is an interactive PDF file that must be opened with Adobe Reader. Follow the instructions below to install and register your TMJ.

Mac Users

To Install:

  • Insert DVD
  • Double-click the CD icon on your desktop
  • A new window should open with 3 files in it:
    • Readme.txt
    • TMJ_Atlas_V120
    • TMJ_Atlas.msi
  • Drag folder named TMJ_Atlas_V120 onto your Applications folder

To Open:

  • Open TMJ by double-clicking on file named TMJ_Atlas
    Applications -> TMJ_Atlas_V120 -> TMJ_Atlas

TMJ must be opened with Adobe Reader!

By default Mac opens pdf files with a program named Preview

Change the program used to open TMJ:
  • Right-click on TMJ_Atlas
  • Select Get Info (an info box will popup)
  • Find the section that says Open With:
  • Choose Adobe Reader from the list of applications
Open TMJ by double-clicking TMJ_Atlas

To Register:



Attention - Adobe Reader X Users!

The following setting must be disabled in Adobe Reader X:
    Adobe Reader -> Preferences -> Security (Enchanced) -> Enable Enhanced Security

The box next to this setting must be UN-checked


The first time you launch TMJ you will be prompted to download and install FileOpen

Follow the instructions to install FileOpen then re-launch your TMJ

You will be prompted to begin the registration process
  • Do not close Adobe Reader
  • Enter your contact Info
  • Enter your license number
  • Make sure to enter license EXACTLY as it appears on DVD
  • Include hyphen in license code!
  • Make sure you choose the correct product
Once you've successfully registered re-launch your TMJ

If you're still experiencing issues:
  • Contact support@ehuman.com
  • Include license number and error number

Windows Users

To Install:

  • Insert DVD
  • Double-click TMJ_Atlas_v120.msi
  • (you may not be able to see the msi extension)
This will add a TMJ icon to your programs folder and desktop

To Open:

Double-click one of the following:
  • TMJ icon on your desktop
  • TMJ item in Start -> Programs -> eHuman

Attention Adobe Reader X Users!

If you are using Adobe Reader X please disable the following setting now:
    Edit -> Preferences -> General -> Enable Protected Mode on Startup
The box next to this setting must be UN-checked

To Register:

The first time you launch TMJ you will be prompted to download and install FileOpen
